1. Organiser

1.1 Free fuel is a promotion by Grenshopper B.V., registered with the Dutch Chamber of Commerce (KvK) under number 42086145 (hereafter: Grenshopper). You can reach us at hello@grenshopper.nl.

1.2 Free fuel is a promotional game of chance under the Dutch Code of Conduct for Promotional Games of Chance 2014 (Gedragscode Promotionele Kansspelen). Grenshopper follows that code.

2. Duration

2.1 The promotion runs in rounds of one calendar month. The app shows when the current round ends and when the draw takes place.

2.2 Grenshopper may change or end the promotion in unforeseen circumstances, without putting participants at a disadvantage. We announce changes in advance in the app and on this page.

3. Taking part

3.1 Taking part is free. There is no purchase requirement: you do not have to buy or fill up anything to take part or to win.

3.2 You may take part if you are 18 or over, have a Grenshopper account and live in a country where the round runs. One account per person is allowed.

3.3 With your first turn you confirm that you are 18 or over and you agree to these terms and the game rules.

3.4 Grenshopper may exclude participants who abuse the promotion, for example with multiple accounts, fake accounts or by getting around the rules. Tickets obtained that way are void.

4. Tickets

4.1 You collect tickets in these ways:

• Daily turn: once per calendar day (Dutch time) 1, 2, 3, 5 or 10 tickets. The server decides the outcome at the first tap, with these fixed chances: 1 ticket 4 in 12, 2 tickets 4 in 12, 3 tickets 2 in 12, 5 tickets 1 in 12 and 10 tickets 1 in 12.
• Fill up at a station: 3 tickets when you arrive at a fuel station using the navigation in the app. Once a day. Filling up or paying is not required.
• Share a deal: 1 ticket when you share a station from your advice. Once a day.
• Invite a friend: 5 tickets for you and 5 tickets for your friend as soon as they play for the first time with your code or link. Your friend must be a new participant. This applies to at most 5 friends per round.
• Full week: 5 tickets for every 7 calendar days in a row on which you played a daily turn.

4.2 The Grenshopper server records all tickets. In case of doubt, that record prevails.

4.3 Tickets only count for the round in which they were earned. They are personal, cannot be transferred and have no cash value.

5. Draw

5.1 After a round ends, on the first day of the next month at 10:00 (Dutch time), a computer with an impartial random program draws the winner and three reserves. Every ticket counts the same, and a participant can only be drawn once.

5.2 For every draw we keep the random number used and a check code over the list of participants and tickets. That way we can show afterwards how the winner was chosen.

5.3 The result is announced within three months after the end of the round.

6. Prize

6.1 There is one prize per round: €100 of fuel. The prize cannot be exchanged for cash. We agree with the winner how they receive the prize.

6.2 The total value of all prizes stays within the limit for a small promotional game of chance in the code. Any gaming tax is paid by Grenshopper.

7. The winner

7.1 The winner gets a notification in the app. Grenshopper gets in touch within two working days via the email address of the account.

7.2 If the winner does not respond within 14 days, or does not meet these terms, the prize goes to the first reserve, and so on.

7.3 We only publish the name of a winner with their permission.

8. Personal data

8.1 For the promotion we use the data of your account and your tickets: to record your participation, carry out the draw and contact the winner. Read more in our privacy policy.

9. Outages

9.1 Grenshopper does its best to run the promotion without outages. If an outage causes something to go wrong with your tickets, get in touch; we will look for a fair solution together.

10. Complaints

10.1 If you have a complaint about the promotion, email hello@grenshopper.nl. You will get a reply within 14 days.

11. Applicable law

11.1 Dutch law applies to this promotion and these terms.
